Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead quality control across multiple plants, establishing QC programs and guiding PCI audits and DOT approvals. The role includes mentoring Level I and II inspectors and driving supplier audits to ensure compliance on prestressed products.

The position requires a current PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III and 6+ years in precast QC, with strong interactions with engineers of record and DOT

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies and qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
