Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits, and resolve complex acceptance questions on prestressed products. This senior role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, 6+ years in precast QC with supervision, and fluency with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs.

The inspector will supervise Level I and II staff and travel between plants with per diem as needed.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification required and current.
• 6+ years' precast and prestressed QC experience including supervision.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and DOT audits.
• Strong communication with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
