Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Inspector III to serve as the senior QC authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits, and lead corrective actions with engineers of record.

The role includes auditing supplier plants, qualifying precast suppliers, and supervising Level I and II inspectors across projects. Travel and per diem are involved as needed.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Familiar with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Qualify precast suppliers; supervise Level I and II inspectors.
