Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead plant QC programs and coordinate PCI certification activities. You will oversee audits, drive corrective actions, and validate prestressed product quality with engineers of record and inspectors across multiple plants.

The role demands extensive PCI MNL-116/117 and DOT experience, supervisory capability, and a track record of preparing plants for certification.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC, including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve issues related to prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
