Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Inspector III to serve as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare sites for PCI audits, and oversee inspector training across multiple plants and projects.

You will resolve structural acceptance questions with engineers of record, audit supplier facilities for owners, and ensure compliance with PCI and DOT standards while coordinating with plant managers and inspectors

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specifications.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and hosting audits.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions; Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
