Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Inspector III, senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits and DOT approvals, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.

The role requires PCI QC Certification Level III with 6+ years of experience, and familiarity with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs; travel between plants with per diem; pay ranges from $38 to $50 per hour depending on

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• At least 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC, including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specifications.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; supervise Level I & II inspectors across plants.
