Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to serve as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and lead corrective actions with the engineer of record.

This role requires PCI QC Personnel Certification Level III with 6+ years in precast QC, hands‑on experience with PCI MNL-116/117 and DOT specs, and the ability to supervise Level I and II

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead the corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
