Everpure is hiring a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support our Higher Education business, focusing on R1 institutions. You will lead technical engagements, translate research needs into scalable solutions, and collaborate with account teams to secure technical wins across complex university ecosystems.

You will engage CIOs, researchers, and procurement professionals, building compelling business cases that address TCO, power, cooling, and data management, while staying current on evolving

Qualifications

• Experience in solution design and customer-facing communication.
• Ability to connect technology to research and institutional outcomes.
• Comfort discussing with engineers, finance, procurement, and executives.
• Capable of building business cases including total cost of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of each institution's research priorities and decision processes.
• Link Everpure technology to measurable research outcomes.
• Navigate conversations across CIOs, researchers, and finance teams.
• Build business case including TCO, power, cooling, and data center impact.
• Support research workloads from instruments to AI pipelines and archiving.
• Address data governance, retention, and sponsor data sharing requirements.
• Collaborate with account managers, channel partners, and consortia.
• Own evaluations, benchmarks, and proofs of concept to secure wins.
• Translate requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Draft RFIs, RFPs, RFQs with detailed, honest positioning.
• Stay current on market trends and competitive landscape.
