Job summary

Everpure (NYSE: P) is hiring a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support Higher Education, focusing on R1 universities in the U.S. This role requires substantial cross-team collaboration to translate technical capabilities into measurable research outcomes.

You will lead evaluations, author RFx responses, and build compelling business cases that combine technical and financial perspectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant technology/solution design experience.
• Pre-sales or customer-facing technical experience.
• Broad depth across cloud, HPC, AI infra, data management, analytics, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of each institution's research priorities, funding cycles, and decision makers.
• Connect Everpure solutions to measurable research and institutional outcomes.
• Navigate conversations with PIs, research computing staff, CIOs, finance, and procurement.
• Build business case alongside the technical one: TCO, power, cooling, footprint, and staff time.
• Support research workloads end to end—from instruments to AI pipelines and long-term retention.
• Address data management questions: retention, governance, sponsorship, sharing expectations, and security requirements such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC where applicable.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, channel partners, and purchasing consortia.
• Lead evaluations, benchmarks, proofs of concept, and system configurations to secure the technical win.
• Capture requirements and translate them into solutions that grow research capability.
• Author responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs with detail for higher education segment.
• Stay current on market trends and competitive landscape.
