Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC, based in Indianapolis, seeks a Pre-Sales Engineer to partner with Architects, Sales, and Security teams to translate client needs into scalable IT solutions. The role evaluates infrastructure, cloud, networking, and security technologies and develops proposals, diagrams, estimates, and statements of work for successful projects.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in IT infrastructure, networking, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of core infra tech (Windows Server, virtualization, storage, networking, IAM, GP).
• Experience in client-facing or pre-sales roles and the ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences.
• Ability to develop technical proposals, diagrams, quotes, and statements of work with attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications such as Network+, Security+, Azure, CCNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess client environments and translate needs into scalable IT solutions.
• Create technical proposals, diagrams, quotes, and statements of work.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architects, and delivery teams to craft solutions.
• Ensure smooth handoff to implementation and post-sales support.
