Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC seeks a seasoned Pre-Sales Engineer to assess client environments and translate business needs into scalable IT solutions. You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, Sales, and Security teams to craft proposals, diagrams, and statements of work for complex IT environments.

Responsibilities include evaluating infrastructure, designing solutions, and presenting value to both technical and business audiences while ensuring smooth handoffs to implementation and post-sales

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of core infra tech including Windows Server, virtualization, storage, networking, MS 365, and Azure.
• Experience in a client-facing or pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and proposals.
• Proficient in developing technical proposals, diagrams, quotes and statements of work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client infrastructure, security, cloud, and operations to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop technical recommendations across Windows Server, virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud platforms.
• Design managed IT solutions using approved technologies aligned with client needs.
• Create accurate proposals, diagrams, quotes, cost estimates, and statements of work.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, outlining business value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architects, and delivery teams to ensure cohesive solutions.
• Maintain documentation and support handoffs to implementation and post-sales teams.
