Neo4j, Inc. is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to partner with the sales team in the Financial Services & Insurance go-to-market group, demonstrating the graph data platform and managing technical aspects of the sales cycle.

You will help customers understand value, run technology evaluations, architect solutions, and drive opportunities from discovery to close across cloud and on-prem deployments.

Competenze

• 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a similar capacity (Sales/Pre-sales/Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, technical consultant, etc).
• Experience with enterprise data architecture, data analytics, data science or cloud data architecture.
• Familiarity with graph databases (Neo4j, TigerGraph, OrientDB, JanusGraph).
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript or Go is a plus.
• Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs and Agentic AI.
• Experience designing data solutions in public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or on-premise.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes in financial services.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

• Drive and run the technology evaluation stage of the sales cycle.
• Manage multiple opportunities, including qualification, discovery, presentations, demos, and documentation.
• Build rapport with customer stakeholders and act as trusted advisor.
• Co-create reference and solution architectures, cloud or on-prem deployments.
• Stay current on Neo4j capabilities and integrations with third-party tools.
• Communicate customer needs and product feedback to product management and engineering.
• Support demand through account-based marketing events and conferences.
• Lead teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement; travel as needed to close deals.
