Neo4j is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer for the US market to partner with Sales in showcasing graph data platform value. You will lead technical evaluations, design architectures, and deliver platform demonstrations for financial services and insurance customers.

You will translate complex data solutions into business outcomes, collaborate across Product, Eng, Marketing, and Sales, and travel as needed to close deals. Strong cloud, analytics, and AI familiarity are required.

Competenze

• 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a similar capacity (Sales/Pre-sales/Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, etc), ideally in a similar high-growth, scaling environment.
• Experience with different data technologies in enterprise data architecture, data analytics or cloud data architecture.
• Working knowledge of graph databases (Neo4j, TigerGraph, OrientDB, JanusGraph, etc) - a strong plus!
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and at least one language: Python, Java, JavaScript or Go.
• Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs and Agentic AI is a must
• Successful track record in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions in the cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or on-premise.
• Ability to engage and communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
• Knowledge of financial services and/or insurance to sell graph DBs' future tech strategy.
• Passion for learning new technologies, data modeling, and change management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to prioritize and pivot.

• Confidently articulate the business and technical value of Neo4j to customers and prospects as a key technical advisor.
• Actively drive and run the technology evaluation stage of the sales cycles.
• Manage multiple opportunities with qualification, discovery, demonstrations, proof of value, sizing, and documentation of criteria.
• Build rapport with customer stakeholders and be the trusted advisor for Neo4j.
• Co-create reference and solution architectures integrating Neo4j with cloud/on-prem environments.
• Stay current on Neo4j capabilities and third-party integrations.
• Distill customer needs and product feedback to PM, Eng, Marketing, and Sales.
• Drive demand via ABM events and industry conferences.
• Lead with teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Travel as needed to assist in deal creation and closure.
