Job summary

Neo4j is seeking a seasoned Pre-Sales Engineer to join our US team. You will partner with Sales to demonstrate the value of our graph data platform, manage technical aspects of the sales cycle, and help customers in financial services understand and prove Neo4j's value.

You will own tech evaluations, collaborate across teams, architect solutions with cloud or on‑premise deployments, and stay current on Neo4j capabilities. Travel may be required to close deals and engage in industry events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of customer-facing experience in sales, pre-sales, or solutions roles.
• Experience with data technologies, analytics, or cloud data architecture.
• Familiarity with graph databases and at least one programming language.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for financial services.

Responsibilities

• Articulate business and technical value of Neo4j to customers and prospects as a technical advisor.
• Lead the technology evaluation stage of sales cycles.
• Manage multiple opportunities with qualification, discovery, presentations, and proof of value.
• Build rapport with customer stakeholders and become a trusted advisor.
• Co-create reference and solution architectures integrating Neo4j with cloud or on-premise environments.
• Stay current on Neo4j capabilities and third‑party integrations.
• Communicate customer needs and product feedback to internal teams.
• Participate in ABM events and industry conferences to drive demand.
• Lead by example and foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Travel as needed to support deals.
