Job summary

Axon seeks a customer-facing Sales Engineer to master Dedrone technology and lead technical and business presentations for potential customers. You will engage with CIOs and partner leadership, coordinate POC tests, and respond to RFPs while developing professional service SOWs.

Expect travel up to 50% to customer sites and industry events. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in pre-sales, a SaaS background, and strong networking/Linux knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent field).
• 3-5 years customer facing pre-sales or consulting background.
• Experience selling SaaS based solutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Good understanding of Networking (IP/Arp/DNS/Dhcp/SNMP/PoE/Ethernet/IEEE802.11), Linux.

Responsibilities

• Master Dedrone technology and Dedrone products.
• Lead business and technical presentations effectively to customers.
• Engage with CIOs and channel partner leadership on technical topics.
• Coordinate POC/Pilot processes and tailor tests to customer needs.
• Prepare and respond to RFPs/RFIs and develop SOWs for Professional Services.
• Represent Axon products at field events and industry conferences.
