Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead complex electrical utilities programs—from strategy through construction and handover. You will drive scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality while coordinating with sponsors, engineers, and operations teams.

The role demands strong leadership, a track record of managing large-dollar projects, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders across multiple workstreams. PMP is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in electrical utilities project management.
• Experience administering large dollar projects.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project performance including scope, quality, schedule, and innovation.
• Serve as primary communicator with sponsor and stakeholders on all project issues.
• Manage project finances, scope, cost, scheduling, environmental considerations, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate all project requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and present project status updates to the Program Manager and customer leadership.
• Identify and secure the necessary project team resources to ensure successful execution.
• Review contractor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project scope and terms.
• Lead detailed, regularly scheduled project meetings and presentations to align teams and stakeholders.
• Foster strong working relationships between the project manager, line managers, and team members.
• Manage project costs and develop recovery plans to stay within budget.
• Ensure all team members understand responsibilities and deliverables.
• Coach and lead team members in developing task plans, spending plans, and communication plans aligned with project goals.
