Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior/Principal Project Manager for Advanced Power Generation and Transmission. The role leads complex capital programs, spanning development, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover, with executive‑level reporting and governance.

The position supports large multi‑unit programs and requires coordinating cross‑functional teams, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality are met, while navigating regulatory, safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading multi‑million to multi‑billion dollar capital projects within power generation and transmission.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams across development, engineering, procurement, construction and turnover.
• Strong execution mindset with governance, scheduling, risk and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield and brownfield power projects through full lifecycle from development to turnover.
• Manage scope, schedule and budgets across one to two business units with project budgets from $500k to $10M.
• Oversee design for advanced-thermal generation and high‑voltage transmission (230 kV/500 kV and above).
• Coordinate land acquisition, procurement, construction and project administration throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain robust project controls and executive reporting to stakeholders.
