Job summary

RESA Power is seeking Sr. Field Techs across Power Systems levels to service and test high-voltage equipment in diverse environments.

The role covers testing, inspection, startup, and data collection on complex power systems up to 765 kV, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to work independently with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required with 1 year of related field experience.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing, infrared scanning, and startup on switchgear up to 765kV, or military training.
• Must follow electrical safety procedures and communicate effectively with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data collection for low to high voltage systems up to 765kV.
• Perform switchgear and circuit breaker testing; inspect/repair transformers and related equipment.
• Operate high voltage test equipment (Doble M4000).
• Commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of controls and transfer schemes.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory laws and customer requirements.
