Job summary

RESA Power, LLC is seeking a Field Tech to service, test and maintain electrical power systems across client sites. You will inspect, test, start-up and collect data on HV/LV equipment up to 500kV, perform switchgear testing and transformer work, and provide on-call support following NFPA/NEC/OSHA standards.

Qualifications start with a HS diploma and 1 year of related field experience for Tech I, increasing with Tech II/III and Sr. Field Tech levels to 5+ years.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required with 1 year of related field experience (Tech I).
• 2 years of related experience for Tech II; 5+ years for Tech III; 5 years plus leadership for Sr. Field Tech.
• Must follow electrical safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA, NFPA standards is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and start-up low, medium and high voltage systems up to 500kV.
• Test and service switchgear, circuit breakers and related equipment.
• Perform maintenance, testing and repair on transformers and switchgear.
• Operate high voltage test equipment and conduct, data collection and analysis.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory safety requirements.
