Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer & Engineering Team Lead to define the technical foundation, architect next-generation power solutions, and lead a multi-disciplinary design team. You will own end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle from market requirements to field deployment, targeting multi-MW modular infrastructure up to MV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Master’s degree in Electrical/Systems Engineering and/or PE license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary design team of electrical, mechanical, and controls engineers.
• Establish engineering workflows, design standards, and peer-review processes.
• Coordinate engineering resources and schedules with Project Management to hit deliverables.
• Translate MRDs into rigorous system-level requirements and ICDs.
• Define architecture for multi-MW MV modular power systems and interfaces.
• Develop verification matrices, FAT protocols, and field commissioning guidelines.
• Evaluate heavy electrical subsystems (UPS, STS, switchgear, relays).
• Perform power systems analyses including short-circuit and harmonic studies.
• Design for manufacturability, transportability, and rapid field installation.
• Ensure compliance with utility interconnection and power quality standards.
• Apply systems engineering frameworks (FMEAs, traceability) to ensure reliability.
