Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a lead Electrical Engineer in Westminster, CO, hybrid role blending on-site and remote work. You will conduct protection calculations, develop relay settings for HV/EHV substations and machinery, and assist clients in complying with NERC PRC standards.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in power-system protection, and hands-on use of ETAP, SKM, and Aspen, with PE or related credential considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• 12+ years experience in power system protection.

Responsibilities

• Perform protection system calculations and analysis for diverse clients.
• Develop relay settings for HV/EHV substations and transmission lines.
• Create relay settings for generators, transformers, motors and LV/MV protection devices.
• Assist clients in complying with NERC PRC standards.
• Analyze relaying events and prepare reports.
