Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Power System Protection Engineer to join our Protective Relay Settings Team. The ideal candidate has knowledge of Protection & Control concepts, relay setting calculations, and power system analysis and modeling software.

You will develop protective setpoints, work with software platforms (ASPEN, CAPE, CYME, ETAP, SKM) and relay manufacturer tools. This role offers hybrid work options and opportunities within a collaborative ESOP-owned environment.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of related experience in Transmission, Distribution, or Power Generation.
• Active PE license in State of Residence or Project Needs.

Responsabilités

• Proactively provide guidance on department design guides, standards, and policies.
• Develop protective setpoints per industry standards and client requirements.
• Work with system modeling software programs (ASPEN, CAPE, CYME, ETAP, SKM).
• Develop and manipulate protection and control logic for complex projects.
