Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop complex power distribution and protection systems for high-profile projects. You will work on relay protection, automation, and system architecture, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to deliver turnkey solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of design experience in electrical power systems, with strong knowledge of SEL, Siemens, ABB, and GE relays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of design experience in electrical power systems.
• Experience with protection and automation for power systems.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and manufacturers to meet design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pre-construction design and development of protection and control for power systems using relays and PLC/RTAC.
• Design site-wide electrical distribution sequences of operation for reliability.
• Coordinate with utility, BESS, and other energy assets as needed.
• Evaluate vendor submittals to ensure conformance with design requirements.
• Lead vendor coordination meetings to ensure interoperability of systems.
• Develop relay protection and automation logic for multiple relay brands.
• Create system protection architectures (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP).
