Job summary

Rosendin Electric seeks a senior electrical engineer to design and develop power distribution systems for complex projects, leading protection and automation work on turnkey data center campuses. You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in electrical power systems, a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and hands-on experience with SEL, Siemens, ABB relays, and associated automation hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8+ years of engineering design experience in electrical power systems.
• Strong knowledge of protection and control schemes for power distribution and automation.
• Experience with coordinating vendors, integration, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Pre-construction design of power system protection and control schemes.
• Develop site-wide electrical distribution sequences of operation.
• Coordinate with utility, BESS, and turbine power plants.
• Review vendor submittals to ensure conformance with design requirements.
• Conduct vendor coordination meetings and ensure system compatibility.
• Develop relay protection and automation logics for major relay brands.
