Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Power System Planning & Study Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in North America. This technical role coordinates the planning and execution of complex power system studies, including load-flow, short-circuit and transient stability analyses for regulated, non-regulated, and developer clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power system study analysis and planning.
• Proficient with PSS/E and load-flow/short-circuit/transient stability analysis.
• Familiar with NA market operator policies (MISO, PJM, CAISO, ERCOT, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Support, develop, and deliver complex power system study and planning projects for diverse clients.
• Perform and review power system analysis including load-flow, short-circuit, and transient stability.
• Conduct planning studies and transient analyses for compliance with standards and good engineering practice.
• Deliver accurate planning reports and client deliverables meeting industry specs.
• QA client reports and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Arcadis units for cross-selling and staffing opportunities.
