Job summary

Worley seeks a Project Construction Director – Power Projects in Houston to lead construction on a major power generation project, acting as Worley’s senior field representative and on-site construction leader.

You will drive safe, predictable delivery and excellence across multidisciplinary teams, engaging with customers and stakeholders to align with project objectives and contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Typically 20+ years of progressive construction leadership experience on power projects.
• Experience leading large EPC/EPCM projects with complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong strategic leadership to translate objectives into construction plans.
• Deep understanding of power generation construction methodologies and field execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site Worley representative and interface with project team, customer leadership, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership for all construction activities across a complex power project.
• Lead construction execution strategies to deliver large-scale power facilities.
• Establish relationships with customer executives, project leadership, regulators, and contractors.
• Ensure delivery safety, on-schedule, within budget, and compliant with contracts and standards.
• Lead multiple construction managers and discipline leaders to ensure unified execution.
• Drive alignment between strategy, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
