Entergy Sterlington, LA is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to enhance plant reliability, efficiency, and safety through diagnostic expertise and project leadership. The role spans plant, plant support, or fleet maintenance environments.

Key duties include root cause analysis, providing primary or backup technical support for plant systems, and leading complex projects. Travel up to 25% is required.

Formación

• Experience diagnosing plant systems and providing troubleshooting support.
• Familiarity with plant control systems and diagnostic tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform root cause analysis and prepare management reports.
• Provide primary or backup technical support for plant systems.
• Analyze performance data with online monitoring tools to improve operations.
• Lead technical aspects of complex projects.
• Support maintenance, outages, and smaller capital projects.
• Train production techs on DCS, Mark VI, and Allen-Bradley systems.
• Manage alarm systems and document configuration changes.
• Coordinate with IT on plant computer system issues.
• Project management and relay maintenance.
• Perform diagnostics (vibration, infrared, motor testing) as needed.
