Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Engineer I-Sr Lead (Nuc) for onsite work in St. Francisville, Louisiana. You will identify and resolve plant issues and serve as a liaison between the engineering team and Operations and Maintenance, maintaining configuration control for the plant.

Roles span Engineer I to Sr Lead based on experience; you will support outages and on-line system projects, participate in training, and help implement cost-effective maintenance and design changes. Travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience ranges by level from Engineer I to Sr Lead as specified.

Responsibilities

• Supports Maintenance and Operations in resolution of plant issues which stem from significant events or complex plant problems
• Support and maintain Emergency Response Organization (ERO) qualifications and duties.
• Interfaces with Maintenance and Operations for cost effective maintenance strategies. Issues engineering changes (Design changes and temporary modifications) to support emergent plant issues and equipment reliability issues.
• Helps support planning and prioritization aspects of project life cycle.
• Implements action plans of senior team members to address deficiencies via the corrective action and work management processes. Supports changes in system configuration/design and design basis.
• Develops engineering products in accordance with defined standards and procedures. Participates in project teams for critical on-line system outages or refueling outages.
• Serves on outage engineering support teams. Attends training and maintains qualifications necessary to perform required group functions.
