Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking an Engineer I–Sr for power generation facilities in Sterlington, LA. Onsite position with responsibilities spanning NERC compliance, project management, and plant modification oversight.

The role requires a B.S. in Engineering with preference for Mechanical or Electrical backgrounds and 0–6+ years of progressive experience, including power generation environments. Travel up to 25% and a safety-sensitive designation apply.

Responsibilities

• Be the Plant NERC Champion to coordinate testing of NERC devices with Compliance Technical Specialists
• Assist with the self-certification process for NERC Reliability Standards
• Provide guidance to plant staff on NERC procedures
• Lead causal analysis of plant component failures and operational events
• Conduct project management and technical oversight
• Coordinate betterment capital and O&M projects and interface with plant teams
• Ensure plant modification processes are followed on projects
• Provide engineering support for plant modifications and troubleshooting
• Oversee external firms and evaluate proposals and start-up activities
• Monitor KPIs and support action plans to close gaps
