Qualifications

• Required: Ten (10) years of power plant experience in operations or a technical role that supports operations.
• Twenty (20) years of relevant power plant experience.
• Preferred: Experience supervising covered or craft employees.
• Experience in coal fired and combined cycle operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, counsel and give daily direction to assigned personnel; conduct performance reviews.
• Manage labor relations and Positive Discipline in coordination with supervision.
• Ensure policies are understood and followed; support improvement initiatives and budgeting.
• Coordinate communication across operations and maintenance teams for seamless shifts.
• Update Energy Control, duty personnel and plant management on issues and outages.
• Complete turnover logs and incident reports including environmental and CEM data.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency response plans and respond per policy; reassign work during emergencies.
• Provide input on budget requirements including manpower; manage allocated budget.
• Maintain station security and coordinate with external entities as needed.
