Tampa Electric Company is seeking a seasoned Supvr Generation- Commercial to oversee field installation subcontract packages, direct subcontractor work safely, and ensure alignment with project schedules and design intent.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs for constructability, managing contract changes, and enforcing QA/QC and regulatory compliance across heavy industrial and commercial building scopes at multiple power plant sites in Florida.

Qualifikationen

• Requires high school education with construction management exposure.
• Preferred college degree or technical/military training related to construction management.
• Experience in heavy industrial/construction management including piping, mechanical, civil/structural work.

Aufgaben

• Ensure quality of work and identify critical items affecting schedule.
• Review designs for constructability and approve change notices with contract personnel.
• Monitor subcontractors for safe, cost-effective execution.
• Assist in preparation of field installation subcontract packages.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, QA/QC and regulatory requirements.
• Track contractor progress and critical path through regular meetings.
• Assist with planning and establishing project schedules and productivity reviews.
• Oversee contracted scopes of work across power plant facilities and commercial sites.
