Job summary

Florida Power & Light is seeking a Senior Power Generation Division Engineer to lead NERC compliance programs and ensure sustainable practices. This role involves technical leadership across wind, solar, storage, and fossil generation.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, has over 4 years of experience in power generation, and is proficient in NERC O&P compliance standards like MOD-025 and MOD-032. This opportunity offers a full-time, exempt position with relocation support, if necessary.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in power generation, transmission, or utility environments with direct involvement in NERC O&P compliance.
• Demonstrated technical experience with substations, protection & control systems and generator interconnection.
• Strong understanding of NERC compliance evidence and audit expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve assigned compliance programs including health, execution and maintenance.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure compliance requirements are understood and executed.
• Lead compliance execution through Maximo including work orders and evidence tracking.
