Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant experience to lead complex projects.

Responsibilities include defining scope, schedule, and budget; managing costs and profitability; reviewing subcontracts; coordinating with engineering, procurement and construction teams; and mentoring junior staff. The role also oversees client billings and change management while ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Thirteen or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work with work breakdown structures and budgets.
• Manage project costs and profitability.
• Review client billings and ensure timely payments; approve subcontractor invoices.
• Escalate project risks and manage changes.
• Coordinate with agencies and internal/external stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced Project Managers.
• Prepare monthly reports and bid packages.
