Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with extensive heavy industrial power/plants experience. You will define projects, set budgets and schedules, and manage profitability while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include managing costs, billing, risk monitoring, change control, and guiding engineering teams through code reviews. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Creates and reviews client billings and ensures timely payment; approves subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Manages scope and change using change management protocols.
• Communicates deadlines, assignments and objectives to the project team.
• Prepares overall project schedule/timeline and budgets by group.
