Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to advance the energy transition by delivering reliable, resilient power infrastructure for utilities, developers, and industrial clients across North America. You will integrate technical analyses, client engagement, and project leadership across transmission, distribution, substations, and renewable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in utility, power, or energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of power systems: transmission, distribution, substation.
• Experience with renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage).
• Understanding of interconnection processes, codes and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, PSLF, PSSE, PSCAD, SEL, PLS-CADD/PLS-Tower.
• PE licensure preferred or ability to obtain licensure in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute technical analyses for transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Perform economic evaluations, feasibility studies, and investment analyses.
• Conduct power system modeling and engineering assessments with industry tools.
• Support interconnection studies, grid integration, and energy transition initiatives.
• Develop transmission/ distribution layouts and design packages.
• Review and validate engineering designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare technical reports and customer-facing deliverables.
• Present findings to customers, executives, regulators, and forums.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, consulting, PM, environment, and construction.
