Job summary

Verto People Ltd. seeks a Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager for electrical power systems in Houston. The role combines engineering expertise with project leadership, overseeing projects from planning through handover in a hybrid work setup with travel.

Responsibilities include directing generator systems, MV/LV distribution, and control systems, reviewing SLDs and AutoCAD docs, and coordinating across teams to ensure on-time delivery with 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical power systems, project planning and field leadership.
• Ability to manage complex projects from planning through handover.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical direction on site.
• Excellent communication with customers, contractors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power generation and infrastructure projects from planning to handover.
• Provide field-based technical leadership during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors and field teams to maintain progress.
• Develop and review electrical drawings and interconnection layouts (SLDs, AutoCAD).
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, procurement, risks and deliverables.
• Support project management processes, reporting and closeout activities.
