Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant – Power & New Energy in California to advance critical energy projects. You will lead technical analyses and engage utilities, developers, and industrial customers to deliver reliable, resilient power infrastructure.

The role blends engineering with advisory services, including modeling, interconnection studies, and project leadership. Hybrid work with in-office three days a week; travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in utility, power generation, transmission, or renewable energy projects.
• PE registration preferred or ability to obtain licensure in the United States.
• Strong communication and client-facing advisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute technical analyses for transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Perform economic evaluations and investment analyses for project development.
• Conduct power system modeling and engineering assessments using industry tools.
• Prepare customer-ready reports, presentations, and recommendations.
• Present findings to customers, regulators, and stakeholders when required.
