Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking a Generation Engineer to apply in-depth technical, power plant knowledge to multi-disciplinary projects under the Capital Projects program. You will work with plant personnel and engineers to assess system health and justify projects for the 10-year LRF and annual capital budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited institution required.
• 2+ years (Engineer II) or 5+ years (Engineer III) or 8+ years (Engineer Senior) of engineering experience.
• ABET/MRA recognized equivalence allowed.
• Ability to develop scopes, costs, schedules, risk matrices for capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Present engineering recommendations and drive decisions with moderate to high impact on Generation performance.
• Influence long-term Generation goals through project development.
• Develop engineering expertise across areas with deep knowledge.
• Coordinate with internal customers and engineering/plant management for data and decisions.
