Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) seeks a Director of Capital Projects in the Generation Engineering division to lead a portfolio of capital replacement and retrofit projects across our non-nuclear fleet. The role requires strategic leadership, deep PM expertise, and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

You will oversee design, engineering support, and project management, while ensuring adherence to environmental, NERC, and WECC standards.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, PM or related field.
• Ten years in engineering, construction or PM roles.

Responsibilities

• Influences and directs capital projects across non-nuclear generation fleet.
• Develops and manages fleet-wide goals and strategies.
• Plans, evaluates and aligns programs with business objectives.
• Oversees multiple PM and contract teams and budgets.
• Maintains compliance with budget estimates and regulatory requirements.
