Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Program Director for the Power & Energy Program Management Office. Based in the south-central U.S., this role directs large, complex projects across multiple offices, ensuring delivery excellence, governance, and client satisfaction.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive budgets, schedules, and risk management, and travel regularly to client sites across the region to maintain trusted relationships and high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related major or equivalent technical experience.
• 15+ years of post‑education project/program management in power/energy/utility or large capital infra.
• Experience across DBB, EPC, PDB delivery models with client governance and controls.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and business acumen.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex programs with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex projects, manage budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and risk.
• Engage stakeholders, provide timely reporting on progress and governance.
• Negotiate contracts, lead governance, and ensure safe, quality delivery.
• Coordinate with client reps, internal teams, and external partners.
• Develop and maintain project initiation documents and PM plans.
