Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Senior Program Director (Power and Energy) to lead large-scale, high-complexity programs in the Power & Energy PMO.

The role ensures delivery excellence, governance, risk management, and profitable project outcomes across the EHV transmission and distribution sectors in the Maine region, with travel as needed. You will drive strategy, governance, and stakeholder collaboration, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and shape client solutions while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related major.
15+ years of post-education project management experience.
Advanced understanding of project delivery in A/E/C; DBB, EPC, PDB delivery models.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.
Knowledge of PM principles, processes, and delivery impact.

Responsibilities

Lead the most complex, large-scale projects; manage budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, and risk contingencies.
Engage stakeholders at all levels and report on project progress.
Participate in contract negotiations, presentations, and meetings.
Ensure profitable performance and successful completion of projects.
Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams and strategic client guidance.
Develop and maintain project initiation and governance docs (RMP, PMP, QP, PSP, Communications).
Lead project management discipline meetings and drive continuous improvement.
Develop recovery plans for budget overruns and coordinate with clients.
Ensure regular reporting to clients and management; document lessons learned.
