Job summary

RTX is seeking senior engineers to design robust power, analog, and motor control systems for DoD applications in the Effector Analog & Power team. You will work on non-isolated and isolated power electronics, supporting telemetry, power regulation, and sensors in sub-10kW ranges.

Responsibilities include leading large teams, defining schedules, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring design integrity across ECAD processes and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required with 8+ years of experience or Advanced STEM degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with linear converters and non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost; isolated topologies: flyback, half/ full-bridge, forward, push-pull, resonant.
• Experience with EMI filter design, transformer/inductor design, and electrical design specs.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry (non-isolated and isolated switch-mode, plus linear converters).
• Lead circuit card and stack development from requirements to integration testing; guide ECAD drafters and junior engineers.
• Define layer stackups and creepage/clearance; manage large teams with schedules and budgets.
• Drive technical growth and capture opportunities to advance the organization.
