Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking an Application Engineer to join the North American Sales team in Pleasanton, CA or Roseville, CA. You will lead design, development and validation of Eaton products while mentoring sales engineers and coordinating with consultants and customers.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering Eaton solutions to power distribution systems across the Bay Area and Greater Sacramento region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of electrical sales and/or electrical engineering experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• No relocation assistance; candidates must reside within 75 miles of Pleasanton, CA or Roseville, CA.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or work authorization for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and validation of Eaton products and service applications.
• Provide efficient pre-sales application and technical support to customers and sales teams.
• Call on electrical engineers at consulting firms to assist with technical design and product positioning.
• Conduct product seminars and training for end users, consultants and sales engineers.
