Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Senior Power Development Engineer to lead technical due diligence and commercial support for wind, solar, BESS and natural gas generation projects across North America. You will guide concept design, design standards, and stage-gate processes to maximize value and minimize risk.

You will collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Major Projects, and Operations to develop specifications and engage external partners. A PE license is preferred in the US, and a P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical due diligence and development activities for wind, solar, BESS, and natural gas generation projects.
• Develop conceptual designs, design basis documents, execution strategies, and technical requirements for stage-gate development.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks to improve project economics and asset performance.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Major Projects, Supply Chain, and Operations to meet HSE and operational requirements.
• Prepare technical specs and scopes of work for EPC/engineering providers and provide input throughout project development and execution.
• Build relationships with developers, consultants, OEMs, EPC contractors, and industry stakeholders.
