Job summary

Jereh North America Group seeks a Director of Engineering to lead power-generation, microgrid, and distributed energy initiatives across North America. You will guide gas turbine packages, BESS integration, and emissions-control strategies, partnering with utilities, OEMs, and EPC firms.

You will drive technical excellence, project governance, and commercial support through development, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with extensive experience in power generation or microgrids.
• Master’s degree or MBA is preferred for senior leadership and business integration responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting power generation, microgrid, energy storage, emissions control, and balance-of-plant projects.
• Establish engineering standards, design procedures, technical review processes, and quality-control practices across the organization.
• Serve as the final technical authority for engineering design reviews, equipment selection, integration strategies, and project execution decisions.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, utilities, and customer stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering quality, safety, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Provide strategic technical leadership for projects involving gas turbines, BESS, and emissions-control technologies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Master's degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Power Systems, or MBA
