Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering and design programs from concept to completion. You will direct multidisciplinary teams, safeguard project budgets, and maintain client alignment across multiple offices and states.

The role emphasizes risk management, schedule discipline, and mentoring of junior staff while delivering profitable outcomes and high client satisfaction. A PE license and 15+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE, P.Eng) or Registered Architect (RA) license required; PMP certification preferred.
• 15-25 years of progressive experience in engineering and design project management, including large, multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience managing EPC, EPCM, Design-Build, and traditional engineering projects.
• Strong leadership, financial management, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale engineering projects.
• Define scope, objectives, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality solutions.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee project budgets, profitability, and contract terms.
• Provide senior technical oversight and QA/QC.
