Job summary

Stantec, a leading design firm in the United States, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-value engineering and design projects from concept to handover. You will direct multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure delivery excellence, financial performance, and safety compliance across large infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• PE license required; PMP certification preferred.
• 15-25 years of progressive engineering/design project management experience.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM, Design-Build, and large multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong leadership, financial management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale engineering/design projects.
• Define and manage scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated solutions.
• Ensure alignment of technical, financial, and contractual performance with standards.
• Lead procurement strategies and manage long-lead equipment packages.
• Mentor project engineers and staff; drive continuous improvement.
