Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-value engineering and design projects from concept through completion. You will drive delivery excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction while mentoring project managers and staff.

The ideal candidate has a proven record delivering large, multidisciplinary infrastructure programs, with strong leadership, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• PE or RA license required; PMP certification preferred.
• 15–25 years of progressive experience in engineering and design project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale engineering and design projects.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and budgets aligned with goals.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
• Manage client relationships, meetings, and progress reviews.
• Drive proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations; support BD activities.
• Mentor project managers and staff; promote accountability and growth.
