Job summary

Qualus Corporation in the United States seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, management, and execution of a portfolio of power delivery projects, handling scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk to optimize client service and financial performance on large, complex programs.

You will train and mentor other project managers, interact with clients, and ensure projects meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years in Power Delivery with at least 5 years in project management.
• Strong financial management understanding.
• Proven ability to manage large, multi-discipline programs.
• Thorough knowledge of power delivery projects (transmission, substations, distribution).
• Excellent relationship development and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Leads the planning and implementation of medium-large power delivery projects.
• Supports business development through scoping, fee development, proposal preparation, interviews, negotiations, and contract development.
• Reviews project after award to define scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and progress billing.
• Meets with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals.
• Maintains ongoing business relationships with clients for development.
• Plans, organizes, communicates, and coordinates project engagements.
• Manages day-to-day activities of projects, including clients and project teams.
• Achieve project objectives including quality, scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Analyzes project performance and resource utilization.
• Identifies potential out-of-scope work and manages change orders.
• Identifies and manages project risk from proposal to completion.
• Trains, mentors, and oversees other Project Managers and conducts portfolio/project reviews.
