Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Senior Project Manager on our Engineering team to lead advisory, EP, and EPC projects focused on high-voltage substations, transmission lines, renewables, and large load industrial facilities.

You will manage scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk, coordinate with engineers, designers and subcontractors, mentor junior staff, and support procurement and construction activities. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Civil) preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in utility-scale electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems and renewable energy.
• Proficient with scheduling tools and project management principles.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects across substations, transmission, telecommunications, renewable energy interconnections, electric utilities and large load industrial facilities.
• Coordinate with project teams including engineers, designers, and subcontractors to meet schedules.
• Manage scope, budget, scheduling, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement and construction activities including site construction managers and procurement teams.
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to process improvements and project controls.
